Green Visits

To spread awareness among our young friends and to group them on a single platform which continuously helps them share and upgrade their know-how about waste recycling and minimization, we cordially invite your students for site visit.

Why the Green Visit?

Green Gene Drive is a community initiative; involving the most vital section of our society i.e. Schools, for awareness about our environment. As our future lies in these young citizens, they should be educated.

What you will see?

Incineration is the controlled burning of substances in an enclosed area. During incineration, as the wastes are heated, they are converted from solids and liquids to gases. Further heating of the gases in the flame leads to the break-down of organic compounds in the gases in to their constituent atoms. These atoms combine with oxygen and form stable gases that are released in to atmosphere after cleaning through Air Pollution Control Devices (APCDs).

Three critical factors for perfect Incineration are temperature in the combustion chamber, duration of waste kept at the high temperature (Residence Time) and the degree of mixing of waste and air. The byproduct of incineration process is the bottom ash apart from the combustion flue gases. Incineration is a commonly applied technology used to destroy Hazardous Waste. Incineration permanently destroys toxic organic compounds contained in Hazardous Waste by breaking their chemical bond and reverting them to their constituent elements, thereby reducing or removing their toxicity. Incineration also reduces the volume of Hazardous Waste by converting solids and liquids to ash.

CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant)

Common Effluent Treatment Plant is the concept of treating effluent by means of a collective effort mainly for a cluster of small scale industrial units. Common Effluent Treatment Plant not only help the industries in easier control of pollution, but also act as a step towards cleaner environment and service to the society at large.
